What does the Sigil Stone do? Sigil Stones are magical objects that open portals between Nirn and Oblivion. The Sigil Stone is a necessary ingredient for the forging of Daedric armor and Daedra hearts at the Atronach Forge in The Midden beneath the College of Winterhold.
What can you do with Sigil Stones in Oblivion? Once removed, Sigil Stones are placed in the Inventory. They can be used to enchant jewelry, armor or weapons. Each stone can provide one of two possible effects: a defensive constant effect on jewelry or armor, or an offensive effect, that expends charges, on weapons.
Do you need the Sigil Stone to use the Atronach Forge? † The Sigil Stone must be installed in the Atronach Forge pedestal. Unlike the items in the offering box, it is never consumed and can be re-used again and again.
How do I get rid of the Sigil Stone in Oblivion? When you get to the Sigil Stone at the top of the tower in any Oblivion gate, save your game. Then, grab the stone. There’ll be a flash of light, and the tower will start to crumble.
