Who left Plan B skateboards? History. In 1993, Mike Ternasky was killed in a car accident, leaving the ownership of the company in the hands of Danny Way, Colin McKay and Paul Ogletree who temporarily shelved the company and the team. In 2005, with the financial backing of Syndrome Distribution, Way and McKay reformed Plan B Skateboards.
Did Plan B Skateboards go out of business? The group decided to temporarily shelve both the company and the team in 1998 following a period of gradual dissolution. McKay has explained, “That was just the end of that Plan B right there. Everything that happened after that, until it was, like, laid to rest for just a minute, was, to me, just doesn’t really count.
Why did Matt Hensley retire? Matt Hensley: “My decision to leave became relatively simple. I was going through kind of a weird time in my life, that’s the best I can really summarize it. I was filming for the video (Questionable [’92]) and Mike (Ternasky) wanted me to do all these tricks that I wasn’t doing at the time.
